CHANGES AT BENTLEY’S

Bentley’s (2300 Route 309, Ashley) has announced that Robert Burke is its new executive chef, a position previously held by John Hudak. Burke has been with Bentley’s for two weeks.

Burke has worked in the food industry since he was 17 years old and is the brother of celebrity chef David Burke, who owns David Burke Las Vegas in the Venetian Resort, Hotel, Casino.

“I worked for him most of my life, trained by him,” Burke told Dish Tuesday.

With Burke’s arrival, Bentley’s unveiled new menus for Josef’s and its patio last week, which Chef Burke said consists of American cuisine with “a little of everything.” The patio is now open for lunch Tuesday-Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.

James Callahan, Bentley’s marketing director, said that Club Ice is closed and it will be transformed into a “really sexy, East Village-type adult-contemporary lounge with a piano and red velvet” and that Olive’s Martini Bar will become Sangria, a tapas bar with about 40 different appetizers on its menu.
