I am a huge fan of sushi, so I went to try the new sushi and hibachi restaurant Masaru. I ordered 3 rolls consisting of a salmon maki, eel and avocado and a red dragon roll to go. I didn't realize they didn't have eel and avocado on the menu. That is usually a standard roll at most sushi places. So instead of telling me they don't have eel and avocado they gave me an eel maki. I didn't realize this till I was already almost home and was stopped at a red light and looked at the order. Really, if they can't make a roll or don't want to, they should have told me instead of giving me a substitute roll that I didn't order. So I went back and asked the waitress what happened, I didn't yell, threaten her or ridicule her. She said it's not on the menu, and so I asked why she didn't just tell me that it wasn't on the menu. And I am not lying...she said she was going to call the police. I could not believe it. I haven't ever been told that before. I was amazed. Honestly, I didn't yell, threaten, curse or ridicule. I was just saying that she shouldn't have given me a roll I didn't order. Anyways, after the "calling the police" thing I just gave them the sushi back and got my money back. I went to Blu Wasabi, they have eel and avocado rolls, and got my sushi there. When I got home I was still mad so I called the manager and he was really apologetic and very apathetic. But I don't know if I will ever try this place again. Can't say whether it was good food or not, but that was crazy. Sorry for the novel.
